We enjoy the benefit of hindsight...
the luxury of looking back with certainty
at a journey our ancestors undertook with great uncertainty!
We owe them a debt of gratitude
that we can never repay.
"The Love of San Demetrio" is simply a down payment.
A true story readers will savor
one layer, and one generation at a time...

About the

Adele
Lou and Adele Bruno, parents of seven children plus twelve grandchildren (and counting), reside in Central Florida.
Lou honed his writing skills over a forty-three year career in sales management with Procter & Gamble. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Masters in Business Administration from Houston Christian University.
Lou says,"One of life's sweetest joys is re-telling with tender affection the stories that capture the lives of the people I've been privileged to love," which is what inspired him to write the true stories-- The Love of San Demetrio and The Days When Ella Came Down the Stairs.
Lou's first love is his wife and Ella's illustrator, Adele.
Adele taught third grade while pursuing her passion for art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She worked as a commercial artist and art director before becoming a mom, her absolute dream job.
Raising seven children can take a little bit of time out of one's day, but throughout the years, Adele's artistic creativity was woven into everything she chose to touch. She is a published artist, calligrapher, writer, and teacher. Her blog, "Tickled to Tangle," which she published for seven years, remains a resource for Zentangle* artists from around the world.
